Write to hello@no.spam.invalid.handfulapps.com and you will get a reply from the person who wrote the app. Tell us your device, your iOS version and what you expected to happen, and it will be sorted out faster.
I paid and the app still says Free. Open Me, Subscription, and tap Restore purchases. That asks Apple again using the Apple Account signed in on the device. If you bought on a different Apple Account, sign in to that one first: a purchase belongs to the account, not to the device.
The store says I already purchased, but nothing unlocked. Restore purchases is the fix. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the date and rough time of the purchase.
How do I cancel? Settings, your name at the top, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to the end. We cannot cancel it for you because the purchase is with Apple.
Was I charged for the free trial? A 7 day trial becomes a paid year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I was not offered the free trial. Apple grants an introductory offer once per subscription group. If you have subscribed to Ketocado before, on any plan, you are not eligible again, and the app shows the plan without the trial badge rather than promising something Apple will not honour.
My iPad does not show what I logged on my iPhone. Both devices must be signed in to the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive on. Sync is not instant: it goes when the system decides, usually within a minute or two on a good connection. Opening the app on both devices tends to push it along.
I see the same fast twice. That can happen when 2 devices each start one while offline. The app cleans up duplicate profiles and overlapping active fasts at launch. If a duplicate survives, edit or delete it on either device and the change carries across.
Can I use the app with no iCloud? Yes. Without iCloud everything is stored locally and the app works exactly the same, minus syncing between devices.
Weight is not coming from Health. Permission is asked for on the Progress screen. If you said no, iOS will not ask again from inside the app: go to Settings, Health, Data Access and Devices, Ketocado, and switch Weight on. The app only ever asks for weight, nothing else.
Does my Health data go anywhere? No. It is read and written on the device, it never reaches us, and it is never used for advertising. See the privacy policy.
I am getting fasting reminders but I only use the keto side. Switching your mode in Me also cancels the notifications belonging to the side you switched off. If you switched modes on an older version, updating and switching once more clears anything still queued.
The Live Activity is counting to the wrong time. Editing a fast now ends the old Live Activity and starts a fresh one, because the planned end cannot be changed on a running one. If one is stuck from an earlier version, end the fast or open the app once and it will be cleared.
I swiped the Live Activity away and want it back. Open the app while the fast is still running and it comes back.
The widget is blank or says Pro. Widgets are part of Pro. If you have Pro and the widget still shows the upsell, open the app once so it can pass the current state across.
A food I eat is not in the list. Add it as a custom food with its own numbers and it will be there next time. The catalog is built around plant based and vegan keto eating rather than trying to cover everything.
Are all the recipes vegan? Yes, every one of them, with no exceptions and no "optional" animal ingredients.
Why do the numbers differ from what I calculate? They are computed from reference values for the ingredients, at the listed serving size. Real portions, brands and preparation all move the figure. Treat them as close rather than exact, and weigh things if precision matters to you.
The recipes are not allergen checked. Read the ingredient list yourself if you have an allergy. Nuts and soy appear often.
Can I get my data out? Me, Export data, gives you CSV files of your fasts, food entries and weights through the share sheet.
Can I delete everything? Me, Delete all data. It asks twice, then removes every record on the device, and the iCloud copy goes on the next sync. There is no way to recover it afterward.
Whether you should fast, how long for, whether keto suits you, what to do about a medication that has to be taken with food: these are questions for a doctor who knows your history. The app is a tracker and we are not clinicians. We would rather say so than guess.
